LUIS LENZI

Musician/ Music Director

Saxophonist, producer, and musical director, Luis Lenzi, is a multi-talented and gifted individual with a a wide range of abilities and insight in the realm of music ministry and composition. After receiving his B.A. in music from the California State University of Bakersfield, Lenzi has been teaching and working in full time ministry for over 20 years. Lenzi studied audio production and engineering at Pyramind, Institute for digital audio training in San Francisco Ca. and is currently pursuing his MA in Jazz studies at California State University East Bay. Lenzi is also a licensed minister within the UPCI and currently serves the Western District Youth Board as the director the Western District Apostolic Youth Choir (WAY CHOIR). The goal and purpose of the WAY Choir has always been to train and develop young people to further their talents and gifting in music ministry. In addition to having several solo albums as a saxophonist (which can be found on Pandora/Spotify/iTunes) Lenzi has also arranged and produced the WAY Choir Live Album titled “Forever Faithful.” However Lenzi’s true passion can always been found in him simply helping to lead and encourage others in their continual growth and knowledge of music ministry and to share his love for worship. Over the past 2 years Lenzi has been traveling full time across the country working with church pastors, music directors, and choirs as clinician and consultant. Lenzi and his family are based out of Abounding Grace, San Francisco, pastored by Bishop Mark Morgan.
